A Spring of Growth

Hello everyone and happy spring! We hope this season finds you well and ready to take on new challenges. As we reflect on the last few months and look ahead, we want to update you with you some highlights from The Things We Carry Men's group. We are also excited to share upcoming events and helpful tips for your mental health and personal development!

The Things We Carry Men’s Group: Fostering Growth and Connection

This winter, we had the privilege of witnessing the transformative power of The Things We Carry Men’s Group. Participants showed openness and dedication to personal growth, making this an unforgettable experience for everyone involved.

Participant Stories: Exploring Boundaries and Masculinity

Participants shared that after the group, they felt seen and validated. It was impactful to be around other men of different ages who shared similar experiences. Participants shared that they appreciated speaking about boundaries. After the group sessions the men started to advocate for themselves, and set more boundaries in their relationships. Overall these group discussions fostered personal and professional growth for participants.

Facilitator Insights

Our facilitator, John Granger II, shared how rewarding it was to witness moments when the information resonated with participants. He mentioned that they demonstrated a willingness to learn and apply newfound knowledge in their lives. John also observed how the group felt like a reciprocal learning environment, where everyone had something to teach and learn from one another.

We are incredibly proud of the progress and growth displayed by the members of The Things We Carry Men’s Group. Their dedication and commitment to personal development are a testament to the power of connection and community. Stay tuned for more updates on future sessions and topics!
